Process:To accomplish these tasks, the following is a list of steps to follow. By performing these tasks you will acquire the basic skills required to utilize mobile laptop technology within your teaching/learning environment.
You will work together to develop a name for this project. The project name will be used for all other activities that are developed out of this pilot program. One person from the team will edit the title of the Introduction page of this WebQuest accordingly.
You will use one laptop, power on, identify all items on the desktop and purpose for each, then access the Internet and this site.
You will brainstorm mobile lab guidelines and will designate one person to record outcome on a new page (ID Lab Guidelines)
You will learn about the WebQuest process and its format by visiting the following sites: You will designate one person to create a new page (ID WebQuest-Inquiry-Based Learning) that merges both concepts into your new format.
You will explore various resources to assist with developing lesson ideas and technology integration applications, creating a new page for each activity (ID Lesson1, ID Lesson2).
Links for resources are posted below. The outcome of this activity will be new wikispace pages that contain information for teachers participating in the Integrated Day program. These resources can be shared and may benefit others as they embark on similar projects.
By using this wikispace to organize the information gathered, you can also include images and other media to convey your ideas, including video. Experiment with the features of this Web 2.0 tool as you develop ideas for classroom applications.
